EVEREST THREE PASSES TREK: MARVELOUSJames Thomass

Why Everest three passes trek?
Considered one of the best hikes in the world, the Three Passes trek, although somewhat shadowed by the reputation of the Everest Base Camp Trek, is for the daring people in need for the thrill and adventure in the chilly mountainous region. The trek loops around almost all portion of the Everest region covering four different valleys—Bhotekoshi, Gokyo, Khumbu, and Imja Tse; and of course, the three famous high passes within the Everest region: Renjo la (5340 m.), Cho la (5420 m.), and Kongma la (5535m.). It is inarguably the complete trek of the Everest region.
For any travellers tired of the hubbub of the Everest Base Camp trek, the Three passes trek is an ideal one. The difficult terrain is daunting in its own right and the constant necessity to cross 5000 m. elevation barrier does not make it any easier but that is exactly what makes it an interesting and far more satisfying trek than any other treks around the world. Trekkers can have the panoramic views of some of the highest mountains in the world; beautiful fresh-water, blue-green alpine lakes; and last but certainly not the least, the warm and rustic Nepalese hospitality and their amazing food to end a taxing day. It could be the trek of the lifetime for any people travelling through the trail.
