Chulu East Peak Climbing
Chulu East peak is a mountain peak part of the Damodar Himal massif in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Also regarded as a trekking Peak, as it ilk—Chulu West, it is one of the famous mountains in the Himalayas among the trekkers and beginners at mountaineering. With its relatively low height at 6584 m. and easier ascent in comparison to other great mountains in the Himalayas it is one of the best mountaineering experience for the climbers to have and a great homework to anyone romancing the idea of scaling other great mountains. Its significance is even more important considering the fact that it requires the knowledge of all technical aspects of mountaineering.
Chulu East promises a great climbing experience and spectacular views. From its summit, the climbers can see a panoramic view of the great Annapurna mountain range, some of the highest mountains of Himalayas as in the Manaslu, the Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna, and so on. The trek to its base camp, just as the Chulu West, follows the famous Annapurna Circuit trail giving the visitors an opportunity to savour the natural and cultural beauty of the region. Climbers experience the great sub-tropical woods, cold alpine climate, beautiful lakes and winding rivers, high mountain passes, centuries-old temples and monasteries, and much more. It is not just a climbing experience but a grand tour of a great but unknown civilization of an entirely different part of the world.
