The Eight-Fold Path of Yoga, from sage Patanjali’s yoga sutra, rummage deeply into the mortality of living and explores the human psyche. It consists of: Yama(truthfulness), Niyama (purity of body and mind), Asana (right posture), Pranayama (the subtle life currents in the body), Pratyahara (interiorization through withdrawal of the senses from external objects), Dharana (focused concentration), Dhyana (Meditation) and, Samadhi (superconscious experience of the oneness of the individualized soul with Cosmic Spirit). The yoga system of the Patanjali is known as the Eightfold Path, which leads to the final goal of the God-realization.
