Introduction

The legendary trek to the base or foothill of mighty Mt. Everest, Everest Base Camp Trek is the most popular walk on the planet. It provides trekkers with ample opportunities to immerse them in the wonderland of snow-clad mountains where adventure blends with traditions and heritage.

Trek to EBC takes visitors to beautiful views of a Himalayan chain of peaks on daily walks from green alpine trees of rhododendron, wobbly suspension bridge, Khumbu valley, Namche Bazaar and Lukla, gateway to Everest to windswept barren landscapes towards the high Himalayas.

The daunting flight to Lukla, panoramic vistas of the towering peaks, high altitude lakes, thrilling passes, Sherpa culture and traditions, different festivals, monasteries, Kala Patthar are prime attributes of this trek and fair enough to savour the trip to the fullest. We believe everyone in this short life needs to undertake this journey to the Himalayas. No ray of doubt! It's incredible.

Gokyo lakes being situated at the elevation range of 4700m to 5000m above the sea-level are freshwater lakes in Sagarmatha National Park. There are six lakes which look like turquoise blue of which Thonak is the largest one. These oligotrophic lakes are especially photogenic hence the scenery of those lakes mixed with the Gokyo civilization of Gokyo village makes this region paradise for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers.

1. World's highest Mt. Everest and its base camp
2. Kalapatthar: a majestic viewpoint on Earth.

EBC Trek - Date of experience: May 2017

Awesome! Anuj hooked it up. He arranged so I could have a porter and guide from Lukla. Other companies tried to make me hire the guide from Kathmandu and then pay for his plane ticket. Not White Hill. My guide, Pemba, was awesome! He spoke English, told me about the significance of the temples, rivers and mountains and was a super nice person. I have already recommended White Hill to one friend, and when I return to Nepal, I will definitely use their services again.

Great trip to Gokyo Ri - Date of experience: March 2017

Avishek D At 2019-02-14 01:36:00

Had a great trip with my friends to Gokyo Ri through White Hills Adventure. We flew into Kathmandu a few days before our scheduled flight into Lukla and we had not found a guide. White Hill Adventures found us and offered us a great deal on a full guided trip to Gokyo Ri. Anuj was extremely helpful in organizing all areas of the trip. Our guide Pemba was a local from Lukla and was extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a well-organized and safe trek in the Himalayas.

Gokyo Ri Trek - Date of experience: March 2017

Evan S At 2019-02-14 01:38:00

We were approached on the street by a White Hill Adventure representative and went with him not knowing what to expect. Deciding to follow him was probably the best decision we made all trip. He introduced us to Anuj who helped us organize and plan our trek. The whole process was very professional and well-managed. We enjoyed our guide (Pemba) tremendously and would very highly recommend both White Hill Adventure and Pemba to everyone looking to trek in the Everest region.
